I always thought that sympathy gifts are flowers, basket of fruits and balloons but when I asked a friend what she wants since she is feeling low, surprisingly, she asked for a make over or a spa.

I think nowadays, women prefers this kind of gifts rather than flowers. Given a choice, I would also go for a day in the spa or a make over.

Of course to those who are int he hospital, nothing can make them smile but a basket of fruits together with colorful balloons and the presence of their love ones.
